Broken finger made straight

Our son (13) injured his little left finger at the swimming bath. He caught it somehow on the slide. After having it X-rayed we got the diagnosis that the first phalanx bone in the little finger had broken diagonally just before the joint. The following day the doctor phoned and said the senior consultant had taken another look at the X-ray and felt the finger should also be screwed. We were worried and unsure and did not want our son to have a full anesthetic to have one or two screws put in his finger. We therefore got two other second opinions, both of which confirmed the finger ought to be operated on, otherwise the finger would later not be straight and have restricted movement. On the Sunday, we drove to the Glory Life Center near Stuttgart. A sister prayed for our son and we also put a cloth in the basket for it to be prayed on (according to Acts 19:12). I wrapped the cloth around my son’s hand for the whole day. The following day we had an appointment with the hand surgeon. He took a normal and an extra large X-ray and said the fracture poses no risk and does not require surgery. The finger was no longer crooked! The doctor said the surgery itself was the real risk and it was not certain whether the result after surgery would be better than without. We were so happy, and are so thankful to Jesus! Thank you Jesus! The first X-ray shows clearly that the little finger is crooked with the tip of the finger overlapping the ring finger. The fracture can still be seen on the 2nd X-ray but the finger is straight! My son said full of confidence, “Now I believe in God!” Oh hallelujah! Isn’t Jesus just wonderful!  Thank you, Jesus! J.M.
