Jesus Lives and Works: The Pain Is Gone

A few weeks ago, at our preschool, I witnessed how Jesus still heals today. An intern was experiencing severe pain in her hip and could barely walk. She said she had to see the BG doctor because it was a work-related injury. I asked her if I could pray for her—and spoke in Jesus’ name against the pain. Shortly afterward, the pain was completely gone. She was totally surprised, and I was able to tell her that Jesus is alive and still at work today. A few days later, I also prayed for our assistant director, who was experiencing pain in her arm. After the prayer, her pain was gone as well. At the end, she said, “I need to have a little chat with the One up there.” I am so grateful that God touches people’s lives and that we are able to share the good news about Jesus. Some have experienced it themselves; others will hear about it. All glory belongs to Him. Amen. D.S.
