The situation at school goes from minus to plus

Dear Glory Life Team,
I am so happy about what Jesus has done for me. I work in the field and run a total of 6 different projects at 7 schools.
At the one school I have a class of refugees who come from 8 different countries. Over the past few weeks this class has developed into a nightmare for me – there was such a stir in the class and I even felt mobbed by one of the students.
In the meantime I’ve had to cope with anxiety and have slept really badly on some nights. Day-before-yesterday I drove to the school earlier than usual because the deputy head had asked me to stand in for a sick teacher. Just about all the way there I spoke in tongues and as a result felt encouraged and strong.
When I arrived at the school there were no students there, only the teacher. Surprised I asked her why she was there and she explained that in the last few days she’d undergone 8 different pregnancy tests because the doctor suspected the baby could have Down syndrome which has really made her down. After I had listened to her for a while I told her that I believe in Jesus and that He helps and does miracles and asked her if I could pray for her. She happily said yes and I prayed for her and the babe there in the corridor. I said to her that I believe that the baby will arrive healthy and normal into the world. Afterwards we had a really good talk about the aforementioned class. Meanwhile the students were arriving one after another. I greeted the child that I felt was mobbing me in a friendly way. I also helped him with a 3 page form which he was having difficulty filling in. When we finished he was like a new person. The morning past by very different to usual and I noticed how I suddenly had a heart for these kids. It changed to the complete opposite and I’m now much more confident whereas before I felt so resigned (which I’m sorry to admit but it was the case). Jesus is so good. – He intervenes and can change everything. He has no limits. Hallelujah!!!
