10 years ago, an ophthalmologist diagnosed me with vitreous floaters; they manifested themselves as black spots and streaks in my vision in bright light. What also developed was dry eyes, which caused a burning sensation. Especially at night, when I woke up, I felt as though I had sand in my eyes, which was very unpleasant to the point of being painful.
The ophthalmologist prescribed eye drops for me, which I was supposed to use several times a day to moisturize my eyes, and to do so for the rest of my life. Whenever prayers were offered for eyes during our church services, I went into “receiving mode” and held on in faith to the healing I had received.
Last summer, 2024, exactly 8 years after the diagnosis, I realized one day that I hadn’t even used any eye drops yet. It was the day of my breakthrough. Since then, I have not needed any more eye drops. My eyes are once again very well moisturized. Recently, I threw the opened bottle of drops in the trash. God always heals, but according to HIS timing and not according to our expectations, and He responds to faith! J.S.
