{"id":3170,"date":"2021-02-17T16:08:50","date_gmt":"2021-02-17T15:08:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/glorylife.net\/the-situation-at-school-goes-from-minus-to-plus\/"},"modified":"2021-02-17T16:08:52","modified_gmt":"2021-02-17T15:08:52","slug":"the-situation-at-school-goes-from-minus-to-plus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glorylife.net\/en\/the-situation-at-school-goes-from-minus-to-plus\/","title":{"rendered":"The situation at school goes from minus to plus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Glory Life Team,<br \/>\r\n<strong>I am so happy about what Jesus has done for me.<\/strong> I work in the field and run a total of 6 different projects at 7 schools. <br \/>\r\n<strong>At the one school I have a class of refugees<\/strong> who come from 8 different countries. <strong>Over the past few weeks this class has developed into a nightmare for me <\/strong>\u2013 there was such a stir in the class and I even felt mobbed by one of the students. <br \/>\r\nIn the meantime I\u2019ve <strong>had to cope with anxiety and have slept really badly on some nights. <\/strong>Day-before-yesterday I drove to the school earlier than usual because the deputy head had asked me to stand in for a sick teacher. <strong>Just about all the way there I spoke in tongues and as a result felt encouraged and strong.<br \/>\r\n<\/strong>When I arrived at the school there were no students there, only the teacher. Surprised I asked her why she was there and she explained that in the last few days she\u2019d undergone 8 different pregnancy tests because the doctor <strong>suspected the baby could have Down syndrome <\/strong>which has really made her down. After I had listened to her for a while <strong>I told her that I believe in Jesus and that He helps and does miracles and asked her if I could pray for her.<\/strong> She happily said yes and <strong>I prayed for her and the babe there in the corridor<\/strong>. I said to her that I believe that the baby will arrive healthy and normal into the world. Afterwards we had a really good talk about the aforementioned class. Meanwhile the students were arriving one after another. I greeted the child that I felt was mobbing me in a friendly way. I also helped him with a 3 page form which he was having difficulty filling in. When we finished he was like a new person. <strong>The morning past by very different to usual and I noticed how I suddenly had a heart for these kids. It changed to the complete opposite and I\u2019m now much more confident whereas before I felt so resigned <\/strong>(which I\u2019m sorry to admit but it was the case). <strong>Jesus is so good. \u2013 He intervenes and can change everything. He has no limits.
