{"id":12980,"date":"2026-09-15T16:13:40","date_gmt":"2026-09-15T14:13:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/glorylife.net\/?p=12980"},"modified":"2026-10-15T16:15:29","modified_gmt":"2026-10-15T14:15:29","slug":"conversions-and-miracles-at-the-family-doctors-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glorylife.net\/en\/conversions-and-miracles-at-the-family-doctors-office\/","title":{"rendered":"Conversions and Miracles at the Family Doctor\u2019s Office"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Through the equipping I have received at Glory Life over the past two and a half years, God has now opened up a new dimension in my everyday work as a general practitioner.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About four weeks ago, a patient with severe heart and lung disease gave her life to Jesus during a home visit.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In the same week, just two days later, I saw a cancer patient (aged 80) while drawing blood during the practice\u2019s \u201crush hour.\u201d He was medically considered to be in the terminal stage of his illness. He could no longer eat and had to go to hospital once a week to receive blood transfusions. Because he was so weak, his chemotherapy had been discontinued.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I mentioned that medicine had reached its limits and asked him whether he knew what happens after death. He asked me in return, \u201cWhat do you think?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>And so I was able to explain the Gospel to him in just a few words \u2013 and he prayed the prayer of surrender with me.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>There was no time for a longer prayer, and I thought to myself that at least he was saved.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A few days later, his partner came in and told me that he was eating again, that he had gone to his favourite restaurant with her and had eaten his favourite dish, liver dumpling soup.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I saw him the day before yesterday, and he is doing really well.
